Michael Moser

Michael J. Moser is a Registered Foreign Lawyer of O'Melveny's China Practice and divides his time between Hong Kong and Beijing.
Resident in China since 1980, Michael has advised clients on a wide variety of transactions including mergers and acquisitions and direct investments. He also has experience in the resolution of Chinese-foreign business disputes.
Michael is a recognized authority in international arbitration and has acted as arbitrator or counsel in more than 150 cases. He is Chairman of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, Co-Chair of the China Arbitration Forum and also serves as Vice President of the Asia Pacific Regional Arbitration Group (APRAG), a Court Member of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and a Board Member of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. He is a former Vice Chair of the Arbitration Committee of the IBA. He is a Commission Member of CIETAC and a member of CIETAC's Expert Group and Panel of Arbitrators. He is also a member of a number of the world's leading international arbitration institutions. He was the first foreign national to be appointed as an arbitrator in China.
Michael is Adjunct Professor of International Arbitration Law at the City University of Hong Kong and Dozent in Law at the University of Zurich.
