E-Mail Scam Regarding Grand Jury Subpoena
April 14, 2008—Hoax e-mail notices of subpoenas have been received in many locations falsely claiming they were served by O'Melveny & Myers LLP and other law firms. These notices did not originate with our firm. Please note the following hoax and virus warning from the Clerk of the United States District Court:
Subject: E-Mail Scam RE: Grand Jury Subpoena
Please be advised that a bogus e-mail is being distributed alerting the recipients that
they have been subpoenaed before the Grand Jury in the United States District in

Please disregard them and do not open any links within the e-mail. Officials with the
Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts are investigating the matter.
