Robert Haymer is a partner in O’Melveny’s Century City office and a member of the Entertainment, Sports and Media Practice. He has a broad range of experience in mergers and acquisitions, securities law matters and partnerships, joint ventures and strategic alliances, both for large public companies and middle market and entrepreneurial clients both in and out of the Entertainment industry.

- Representing Lions Gate Entertainment in numerous acquisitions and investments including the acquisition of a basic cable channel, the formation of a premium movie channel and video on demand channel and service, investment in an internet content company and acquisitions of a television distribution company, and a specialty theatrical distributor
- Representing one major league baseball team in is sale and another major league baseball team in its acquisition of an ownership interest in a regional sports network
- Representing a DIC Entertainment in its public offering on the London AIM Market and in numerous ventures including its investment in an international television channel and a media buying business and in its ultimate sale
- Representing private equity fund Clarity Partners in acquisitions of and investments in the publishing, broadcasting, theatrical exhibition and live entertainment industries as well as continued representation of its portfolio companies in those industries
- Representing Univision Communications Inc. in numerous licensing, acquisition and joint venture matters
- Representing numerous independent production companies in their structuring and capital raising from private equity, hedge funds and other investors
