Tim Curry is Transactional Department Head of O’Melveny’s Silicon Valley office, and a member of the Corporate Practice. Tim handles general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and corporate governance matters. He focuses on the representation of emerging growth and public technology companies in public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, and licensing and partnering transactions. Tim also represents investment banks in public equity and debt offerings, as well as companies and venture capitalists in venture financings. Tim was formerly a partner in Brobeck’s Palo Alto office.

Representative corporate clients include SanDisk Corporation (Nasdaq: SNDK), the world’s largest supplier of flash memory devices; SAP AG (NYSE: SAP), a leading provider of business enterprise software; Zoran Corporation (Nasdaq: ZRAN), a developer of multimedia semiconductors; InSite Vision (AMEX: ISV), an ophthalmic biotechnology company; LaserCard Corporation (Nasdaq: LCRD), the worldwide leader in secure ID solutions; NxTV, a leading provider of in room entertainment systems to the hotel industry; WYSE International, the world’s largest provider of thin computing solutions; Generate, a leading digital multimedia production studio; Five9, Inc., a developer of call center and VoIP calling solutions; THX Ltd., the pioneer in theater sound standards; and WhiteFence, the leading online marketplace for utilities and home services.
Representative financial clients include Deutsche Bank, UBS Securities, Granite Global Ventures, Partech International and SAP Ventures.
Tim has worked on more than 40 public offerings raising approximately $5.0 billion from the public markets. He has worked on more than 40 merger and acquisition transactions, including more than 10 acquisitions and strategic investments in design automation companies on behalf of Synopsys, Inc., ranging in transaction size from $1 million to more than $4 billion. Tim has also represented companies and venture capitalists in numerous venture financings.
Tim recently developed and structured comprehensive corporate governance programs for five public companies.
