ABA: 18th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference: The Railway Labor Act and Airline and Railroad Labor Action

O’Melveny partner Aparna Joshi will be a featured speaker at the 2024 Labor and Employment Law Conference. The event aims to provide a cutting-edge and in-depth curriculum covering all aspects of labor and employment law practice through a multi-level program offering a wealth opportunities to engage with colleagues representing different perspectives within the field. Joshi will join a panel discussing “legal principles under the Railway Labor Act, with a focus on the impact of the RLA on the state of labor activity across the airline and railroad industries.”

Aparna Joshi advises clients on a range of labor and employment matters including class action litigation and international labor cases as well as representing airlines in federal court litigation under the Railway Labor Act, labor arbitrations, mediations, collective bargaining negotiations and proceedings before the National Mediation Board and the National Labor Relations Board. She also has significant experience representing. Additionally, Aparna represents employers in a wide range of employment discrimination matters including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, wrongful discharge, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
