ABA Antitrust Spring Meeting
March 25, 2026
O’Melveny partners Ian Simmons and Sergei Zaslavsky will be guest speakers at the 2026 ABA Antitrust Spring Meeting. Simmons will join a panel discussing how to take a case through the last pretrial phases as well as the trial itself when an antitrust case “survived the motion to dismiss,” and summary judgement was denied following years of discovery. Zaslavsky will moderate a panel exploring the basic concepts crucial to antitrust cases with a focus on damages and econometrics.
Sergei Zaslavsky is an antitrust attorney with broad experience in trials, regulatory merger reviews, conduct investigations, antitrust audits, and antitrust counseling. Ian Simmons has been lead counsel in more than 35 multi-district litigation (MDL) antitrust proceedings and has achieved precedent-setting results. With 33 years of experience in antitrust litigation, Ian is one of a few lawyers listed in the Commercial Litigation Global Leader and Competition Thought Leader Who’s Who Legal directories and in Chambers. He is also an alumnus of the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division.
