Anna Pletcher is a partner in O’Melveny’s Antitrust & Competition Practice. Prior to joining O’Melveny, Anna served for more than 10 years as a Trial Attorney for the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division, where she investigated and prosecuted a variety of complex criminal and civil cases and served as Assistant Chief of the Antitrust Division’s San Francisco Office. Her experience on criminal matters includes prosecuting price fixing, bid rigging, market manipulation, fraud, and money laundering. On the civil side, Anna’s experience includes investigating proposed mergers and prosecuting a major technology company for entering into a no-poach agreement.

Julia Schiller is a partner in O’Melveny’s Antitrust & Competition Practice. Julia recently rejoined O’Melveny from the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she served as Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General. In that role, Julia provided oversight across a broad range of civil enforcement matters, including Bayer’s US$66 billion acquisition of Monsanto, in which the Division obtained a comprehensive US$9 billion divestiture, and the Division’s successful challenge to the merger of Novelis and Aleris, which was its first use of arbitration to resolve a merger challenge.

Brinkley Tappan is Assistant Vice President and Senior Counsel for Antitrust at AT&T. Prior to joining AT&T in 2018, Brinkley served as Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General at the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. While at DOJ, she advised Division and other DOJ officials on merger and conduct matters under investigation, negotiated consent and plea agreements, and assisted on formulating policy positions and public statements.

This program is eligible for 1 hour of General CLE credit in California and Texas and 1 hour of Professional Practice CLE credit in New York. O'Melveny & Myers LLP is an accredited provider of CLE in California and New York. CLE applications will be filed in other jurisdictions upon request.
