O’Melveny Receives Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s Compass Award For Sixth Consecutive Year
October 20, 2023
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW YORK—October 20, 2023—For the sixth consecutive year, O’Melveny has been recognized by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (“LCLD”) with its “Compass Award” for expanding opportunities for attorneys of all backgrounds.
The firm also received the 2023 “Top Performer” award, which recognizes those organizations in the top 20 percent for participation in LCLD programs and activities.
LCLD established the Compass Award to recognize exemplary commitment to the Council’s goal of creating a truly diverse US legal profession. To qualify for the honor, firms must actively participate in the full range of LCLD programs designed to attract, inspire, and nurture a diverse generation of talent in the legal profession. The Compass Award recognizes those who (among other things) participate in the Fellows and Pathfinder Programs, an LCLD Pipeline Program, and those who attend the Annual Membership Meeting, the Leadership Summit, and/or submit a Leader’s Pledge.
At O’Melveny, we rise to the challenge of making the promise of DE&I real in every aspect of our firm, and we are honored to be recognized by LCLD for these impactful actions.
