Associated Press: Charges are Dropped Midtrial in ‘Hotel California’ Lyrics Case, Don Henley Plans to Fight On

Prosecutors have dropped charges against three collectors who were accused of conspiring to sell stolen handwritten lyric sheets from The Eagles’ hit album “Hotel California.” Despite the case being dismissed, Eagles co-founder Don Henley will continue to pursue legal action. “As the victim in this case, Mr. Henley has once again been victimized by this unjust outcome,” said attorney Dan Petrocelli, who represents Henley. “He will pursue all his rights in the civil courts.”
