Chalkbeat: Advocates Praise School Funding Report, Promise Statewide Campaign to Back More Spending

A report from the Basic Education Funding Commission recommending increasing school spending in Pennsylvania was approved last week. The commission’s suggestions are in response to Commonwealth Court President Judge Renée Cohn Jubelirer’s ruling that declared Pennsylvania’s educational funding system unconstitutional. The plaintiffs in the case were represented by the Public Interest Law Center, the Education Law Center, and O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
