FremantleMedia North America and American Idols Productions have reached a settlement agreement with Paula Abdul, who alleged that the companies failed to take action against Nigel Lythgoe, the executive producer of “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance,” as a result of sexual assault allegations she lodged against him.
