Global Legal Chronicle: Hyundai’s Partnership with Waymo

O’Melveny advised Hyundai Motor Company on its multi-year, strategic partnership with Waymo. As part of the first phase of the partnership, the companies will integrate Waymo’s sixth generation fully autonomous technology – the Waymo Driver – into Hyundai’s all-electric IONIQ 5 SUV, which will be added to the Waymo One fleet over time. The O’Melveny team advising Hyundai was led by partner Ashwin Gokhale and associate Emily Losi, with additional support from partners Adit Khorana and Amy Park.
