Cubanos Pa’lante, Engage Miami, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Club at Florida International University, and five local residents filed a federal lawsuit challenging the racial gerrymandering of four congressional districts and seven state house districts in Florida. The plaintiffs are represented by the ACLU of Florida, Vasquez Segarra, and Brian P. Quinn, Patrick J. Jones, Emily Murphy, Gabrielle S. Jackson, and Andrew J. Frackman of O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
