O’Melveny Advises Lucid on Long-Term Strategic Technology Partnership with Aston Martin

O’Melveny advised American electric vehicle company Lucid Group, Inc. on its agreement to establish a long-term strategic technology partnership with Aston Martin for access to Lucid’s proprietary electric vehicle technology and the integration and supply of Lucid’s state-of-the-art electric vehicle powertrain and battery systems. The transaction was announced on June 26 and marks the first such relationship for Lucid Group’s technology arm.
Lucid’s mission is to inspire the adoption of sustainable energy by creating advanced technologies and the most captivating luxury electric vehicles centered around the human experience. The company’s first car, the Air, is a state-of-the-art luxury sedan with a California-inspired design.
