The Deal: LyondellBasell Sells Ethylene Oxide Unit to INEOS

O’Melveny advised INEOS, a global petrochemicals manufacturer, on its agreement with LyondellBasell to buy its Ethylene Oxide and Derivatives business including the Bayport Underwood site, which produces high-quality ethylene oxide and derivatives, for US$700 million. The O’Melveny team was led by partners Phillip Oldham and Eric Zabinski.
