Ventura County Star: Roughly 89,000 in Oxnard and Camarillo Areas Get Notices About Water Adjudication Case

The OPV Coalition, a group of agricultural property owners, filed a lawsuit in Santa Barbara County Superior Court seeking to determine groundwater rights in the Oxnard and Pleasant Valley basins. O’Melveny attorney Heather Welles, who represents the coalition, noted that the lawsuit’s goal is to resolve all competing demands for the area’s groundwater.
