O’Melveny Worldwide

Alyx Bogus is a corporate associate in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office. As part of her practice, Alyx contributes to a wide range of matters, including licensing/technology agreements, real estate and leasing matters, construction contracts, and M&A transactions.

Alyx is well practiced in both intellectual and real property matters, with experience in assisting in the review and negotiation of leases, construction agreements, and IP licenses. She also participates in pro bono efforts at the firm. Her work has involved advocating for civil rights such as fair housing, assisting with file reviews for the NVLSP, and providing IP and corporate formation advice to small businesses.

While attending law school, Alyx helped research and prepare a Supreme Court amicus curiae brief on behalf of documentary filmmakers for the UCI Intellectual Property, Arts, and Technology Clinic, and assisted with fair use review for documentary filmmakers as well. Alyx received multiple academic awards for her performance in a variety of classes including Copyright, Trademark, Anti-Trust and Entertainment. She also placed second in the 2021-2022 UCI Law Moot Court oral arguments competition.
