Andrea Orr is a labor and employment attorney in O’Melveny’s New York office. She represents employers in a wide range of employment disputes, including claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, and breach of employment contract. She has also trained clients on conducting internal workplace investigations.
Andrea serves as a labor and employment specialist on corporate transactions, drafting employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and severance agreements, and advising on various labor and employment diligence issues related to the transactions.
Andrea also counsels employers on traditional labor issues, including election proceedings, unfair labor practice proceedings, and compliance with the National Labor Relations Act.
Andrea has experience representing colleges and universities, including conducting independent investigations into high-profile allegations of employee misconduct, defending institutions in employment and other litigation matters, and advising on Title IX policies and processes.
Andrea is involved in the pro bono community as well. Her practice in this area includes providing labor and employment advice to low-income small business owners and non-profit organizations.
