Arsalan Memon is an associate in O’Melveny’s Tax Practice. Arsalan advises clients on a wide variety of domestic and international tax matters, including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, bankruptcy, dispositions in the context of both taxable and tax-deferred transactions, and restructurings for corporate and pass-through entities. He also has experience advising clients in connection with tax aspects of capital market transactions, financial instruments, federal renewable energy tax credits, investment funds, and regulated investment companies.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Arsalan was an associate in the tax practice of another international law firm where he advised on tax aspects of domestic and cross-border structuring transactions, capital market transactions, and investment funds. Prior to that, he worked at a large public accounting firm in its international tax and mergers and acquisitions tax practices in San Francisco.

Arsalan also maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting clients on nonprofit entity formations, federal tax-exempt status applications, and immigration matters.
