Barry Hirsch is the Manager of Associate and Counsel Staffing and a member of O’Melveny’s work coordination team within the talent development group. In this role, Barry helps teams in all of the firm’s US offices ensure that matters are properly staffed and that associates and counsel have opportunities to work on a variety of matters to develop their individual career goals. Additionally, Barry analyzes overall attorney utilization and assists office leaders in filling open projects with the talent necessary to be successful.

Prior to this role, Barry served as a staff attorney as well as an independent contract attorney in O’Melveny’s Washington, DC office as a member of the Litigation Department, working on a wide variety of matters. His practice encompassed the full panoply of electronic discovery, including document and privilege review and analysis, deposition preparation, and fact development activity.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Barry spent 13 years in the managed healthcare industry gaining significant experience in provider network operations, provider contracting and corporate research while at UnitedHealthcare, Inc. and ValueOptions, Inc.
