O’Melveny Worldwide

Chrissy Metcalf is an award-winning corporate lawyer. She represents private equity sponsors in buyouts, new platform investments, add-on acquisitions, and growth financings, as well as in portfolio company corporate support and exit transactions. She is especially active in the middle-market and lower-middle market, with particular emphasis on the business services, industrial, healthcare, and consumer sectors.

She also advises private and public company clients on strategic acquisitions, capital-raising transactions, and general corporate issues, including corporate governance counseling and SEC reporting matters.

Chrissy was the inaugural managing partner of O’Melveny’s Dallas office, serving from its 2022 opening until March 2026.

She has been named a “Texas Rising Star” for Mergers & Acquisitions by Super Lawyers for eight consecutive years, and has been recognized for three consecutive years as one of the top M&A lawyers in Dallas by D Magazine.

Chrissy maintains an active pro bono practice supporting causes she is passionate about, including anti-racism initiatives, voting rights, legal aid for veterans, childhood education and health, and support for cancer survivors and their caregivers.
