Daniel W. Leal is an associate in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office whose practice focuses on real estate development and finance, commercial leasing, and infrastructure project development and finance. He also advises clients on general corporate, transactional, and governance matters.
In his general practice, Daniel has represented conduit issuers, sovereign wealth-funds, airport investors and developers, public-private partnerships, real estate developers, underwriters—as well as—closely-held corporations, pharmaceutical technology corporations and multinational venture capitalists in various projects that have involved airport facilities, commercial and residential real estate developments, private company merger and acquisition, and corporate governance.
Daniel also maintains a healthy pro bono practice in Los Angeles, advising clients with unlawful detainer matters, non-profit incorporation, community development fund investment projects, and homelessness and housing related issues as an active member of the Law Firm Anti-Racism Alliance. At O’Melveny, Daniel also serves as a member of AAP, the firm’s African American Professionals employee network and as a member of OLA, the O’Melveny Latino/a employee network.
