Danielle Siegel is a litigation associate in O’Melveny’s Washington, DC office with a focus in civil litigation and constitutional law. Her experience includes researching and drafting memoranda on various litigation issues, preparing legal briefs and court filings, and other legal documents. She also provides clients with regulatory advice on developing areas of law.

Danielle maintains an active pro bono docket, including co-authoring Supreme Court amicus briefs for gun violence and domestic violence prevention groups and helping families obtain educational accommodations for children with disabilities. She is currently a member of the O’Melveny team bringing a constitutional challenge to Georgia’s ban on gender-affirming medical care for transgender children.

Danielle obtained her law degree at Duke University School of law, where she was a member of the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law & Public Policy and served as President of Duke’s American Constitution Society. She also participated in the First Amendment Clinic in which she provided journalists across North Carolina with pre-publication legal review to support their reporting, and represented them in public records and defamation disputes.

Prior to law school, Danielle worked as an archival researcher for journalists and for the George Washington University-based National Security Archive.
