O’Melveny Worldwide

Emily Losi is a corporate associate at O’Melveny, where she provides strategic business counsel and transactional support on a broad range of commercial and corporate transactions for clients in the media, technology, advertising, entertainment, consumer retail, and financial services industries. She regularly drafts and negotiates strategic alliances and other commercial agreements involving the development, licensing, distribution, monetization, and other exploitation of digital entertainment content, software applications, smart devices/hardware, e-commerce/payment solutions, data/analytics, and other IP and technology-driven products and services.

Emily’s technical background and fluency in core and emerging technologies across a variety of platforms and offerings enable her to provide valuable business and operational insights on transactions leveraging innovative solutions, from AI and advanced digital marketing to interactive entertainment and sports analytics.

In particular, her “on-the-ground” experience working for organizations such as FINRA and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association informs her approach to managing transactions in the fintech, adtech, e-commerce, blockchain, and digital solutions spaces involving the convergence of technology and financial services. She also relies on her experience managing diverse brand portfolios and other IP assets when navigating clients through complex advertising, merchandising, and retail arrangements.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Emily was an associate in the technology and IP transactions group of a leading international law firm, where she advised clients on a range of strategic, intellectual property, and technology-driven transactions.
