Gillian Hawley is a litigation associate in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office, representing clients in civil litigation. Gillian has served as an instrumental member of multiple trial teams, helping clients to score precedent-setting victories. Gillian also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on civil rights and pressing constitutional issues.
Before joining O’Melveny, Gillian worked at Viacom Media Networks alongside intellectual property-litigation attorneys to assess copyright infringement concerns, advise production groups on use of parody and satire, and negotiate licensing deals with record labels and music publishers.
