Gregory Sefian is an Intellectual Property & Technology associate in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office. Gregory advises clients on complex patent cases.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Gregory practiced IP law for several years in the San Francisco Bay Area office of another law firm.

Gregory’s technological proficiency is enhanced by his advanced training in Physics, Computer Science, and Electric & Computer Engineering. Gregory also has prior experience working at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia.

Gregory has achieved favorable results in patent suits, including obtaining decisions of invalidity under Section 101 from the Western District of Texas. Gregory has been involved in high-stakes patent litigation in a variety of venues throughout the country dealing with various technological fields including but not limited to networking and telecommunications, video streaming, mobile games, and mobile applications.
