James Donegan is a litigation associate in O’Melveny’s Washington, DC office. James focuses his practice on representing clients in complex intellectual property and technology disputes in industries such as automotive, medical device, semiconductor design/manufacturing, encryption, data storage, and telecommunications. With prior experience as an electrical engineer and intellectual property manager for a technology startup, James brings a unique combination of legal, technical, and business acumen to his intellectual property litigation practice.
Prior to joining O’Melveny, James worked as a licensed patent agent and is admitted to practice before the USPTO.
