Joshua Revesz is a member of O’Melveny’s Supreme Court & Appellate Litigation Group. He focuses his practice on appellate and complex litigation matters, including First Amendment litigation, trademark disputes, and insurance, labor, and employment cases. He has also provided advice on constitutional and statutory issues to clients anticipating litigation. Josh maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on criminal justice appellate matters.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Josh held several positions in the US Department of Justice, most recently as Senior Counsel to the Associate Attorney General. Previously, as an attorney in the Justice Department’s Civil Division, he presented eight oral arguments on behalf of the United States. He is a former law clerk to US Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan and to Chief Judge Merrick B. Garland of the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit.
