Katie Takakjian represents clients across a variety of industries in complex litigation, including in civil disputes regarding contracts, copyright, trademark, insurance coverage, and fraud, and in white-collar criminal cases. Her practice spans all stages of litigation, including discovery, dispositive motion practice, trial, and alternative dispute resolution.
Katie also maintains a robust pro bono practice with a particular focus on reproductive justice. Recently, she was part of a team that traveled to Kentucky and partnered with the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project and local Planned Parenthood affiliates to challenge the state’s total abortion ban.
Katie currently serves as one of Century City’s two representatives on the firmwide Associate and Counsel Advisory Committee. Outside the office, she coaches the UCLA undergraduate mock trial team.
