Kevin Loquaci is a midlevel corporate associate in O’Melveny’s San Francisco office.

Kevin’s practice consists of representing public and private companies, advising in the world of mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, deSPAC transactions and other significant corporate matters.

His experience spans a variety of industries, including technology, shipping, sports, and AI.

His practice emphasizes whole-company transactions, where he has represented major public and private companies in transactions ranging from “take-privates” of public companies to exits of venture-backed companies valued in the hundreds of millions to multi-billion dollar public company M&A and de-SPAC transactions.

Kevin also devotes time to pro bono matters, where he’s provided counsel in immigration matters and assisted small businesses in microlender financing and contract and policy drafting.

Prior to O’Melveny, Kevin practiced as a litigation associate at another law firm. His previous experience in litigation gives Kevin a unique set of skills, being able to provide a more analytical mindset in his corporate practice.

  • Dragonfly Energy in its US$500 million merger with the Chardan NexTech Acquisition 2 Corp SPAC
  • Liberty Media in its split-off of Atlanta Braves Holdings
  • Liberty Media in its combination of its Liberty SiriusXM tracking stock group with SiriusXM to create a new public company with a single outstanding series of common stock
  • Mercatus in its acquisition by State Street
  • ReKTGlobal in its US$470 million acquisition by Infinite Reality
  • Textainer in its US$7.4 billion acquisition by Stonepeak
