Michael Perlmutter is a corporate associate in O’Melveny’s Entertainment, Sports & Media Industry Group and is based in the firm’s Century City office. His practice is focused on corporate transactions related to film and television distribution, licensing, production and financing, and also encompasses M&A transactions in the entertainment industry.
Michael previously gained extensive experience at another Los Angeles law firm, where he assisted technology, private equity and life sciences companies on buy-and sell-side M&A transactions with purchase prices between US$20 million and US$1.2 billion, as well as venture capital and private equity financings for Series Seed- through Series D-stage companies.
Prior to law school, he spent nearly ten years in the live entertainment and sports industries, working at Another Planet Entertainment, the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee and the San Francisco Deltas (professional soccer).
