Raj Paul is a litigation counsel in O’Melveny’s Washington, DC office. His practice is focused on intellectual property and technology matters, and his experience spans a wide variety of fields, including mobile communications, semiconductor devices, data storage technologies, application software, blockchain and crypto technologies, and mechanical devices.

Raj is well-versed in all phases of litigation, on behalf of both defendants and plaintiffs, in district courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and in inter partes review (IPR) before the Patent Office. His experience includes written and oral advocacy, and taking and defending fact and expert depositions.

Apart from disputes, Raj also has experience advising and working with clients on broader patent-related matters, including securing patent protection, and evaluating exposure risks and portfolio acquisition opportunities.

Prior to law school, Raj was a communications engineer at Earth Tech (now AECOM).
