Scott Harman-Heath is a litigator who places a premium on intimately understanding his clients’ businesses. A member of the firm’s Financial Services group, Scott focuses his practice on ERISA class action defense and has experience defending clients in federal and state courts. He has achieved favorable outcomes for clients through every stage of the litigation process including multiple trials. He also advises on the interaction between ERISA and states’ regulatory regimes. Scott works collaboratively with his clients to identify the best litigation strategy but the solution that works for their business as a whole.

Scott also maintains a robust pro bono practice, with a particular focus on issues related to mass incarceration and constitutional law. Scott’s has litigated First, Fourth, Fifth, and Eighth Amendment claims on behalf of incarcerated or underrepresented clients.

Previously, Scott served as a law clerk to the Honorable Deborah L. Boardman on the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
