Teo Stoica is a corporate transactional attorney. She represents clients in project financings, acquisitions, and acquisition financings, with a focus in the energy, infrastructure, and transportation industries.

Teo’s skills include drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and advising clients on purchase agreements, capital contribution agreements, bond purchase agreements, and related documentation. She has experience with both secured and unsecured transactions. She also advises clients on general corporate matters.

  • Represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc. in connection with an $850 million NYTDC/American Airlines John F. Kennedy International Airport Project refunding
  • Represented Citicorp North America and Berkshire Hathaway Energy in connection with the $390 million South Plains Wind Energy II power project being developed by SunEdison, Inc. in Floyd County, Texas; and in connection with the $219 million Shannon Wind power project being developed by Alterra Power Corp. and Starwood Energy Group in Clay and Jack Counties, Texas
  • Represented US Bancorp in connection with the (i) $70 million Gulf Coast I power project, (ii) $88 million Gulf Coast II power project, and (iii) $113 million Gulf Coast III power project, in each case operated by Coronal Group LLC in Florida; and in connection with the $349 million White Pine and White Oak solar power projects being developed by NextEra Energy, Inc. in Georgia
  • Represented a leading financial institution in connection with the $403 million Live Oak, River Bend, and Chaves solar power projects being developed by NextEra Energy, Inc. in Georgia, Alabama, and New Mexico, respectively; and in connection with the $349 million White Pine and White Oak solar power projects being developed by NextEra Energy, Inc. in Georgia
  • Represented a leading financial institution, Tyr Energy, Inc. and US Bancorp in connection with their commitment to acquire $200 million in preferred equity interests in the Cotton Plains, Old Settler and Phantom Solar power projects being developed by Apex Clean Energy Holdings, LLC in Texas
  • Represented Thomas Keller Restaurant Group in connection with an international franchising of Bouchon Bakery through M.H. Alshaya Co. W.L.L.
  • Represented Targus International LLC and affiliates in connection with two credit facilities totaling over $100 million
  • Represented Hancock Fabrics, Inc. and affiliates in connection with a senior secured credit facility of up to $100 million through a debtor-in-possession credit agreement
  • Represented Freeman Spogli & Co. in connection with the establishment of the Freeman Spogli Equity Partners VII, L.P. fund, raising $1.3 billion
  • Represented Shamrock Capital Advisors in connection with the establishment of the Shamrock Capital Growth Fund IV, L.P. fund, raising $700 million
